Czech-Slovak Poker Tour

The world’s biggest and best poker site is bringing live poker to the Czech Republic and Slovakia with Season 1 of the PokerStars.com Czech-Slovak Poker Tour (CSPT)! Following in the footsteps of events like the European Poker Tour (EPT) and Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT), the CSPT will see major live poker tournaments held at the most prestigious venues in the region, with huge cash prizes on the line - including a guaranteed prize pool of CZK 1,222,222 at each event. In addition to cash prizes and the CSPT Championship title, you’ll also be playing for points at each event. Players that score big and finish in the top 32 on the points Leaderboard after all four events are complete will advance to a special season finale tournament, to play for a CZK 500,000 prize pool!

The first event in Season 1 takes place in the beautiful city of Prague, June 25-28. The tour will then move on to make stops in Ostrava and Brno - two of the busiest and most exciting cities in the Czech Republic, and then to the popular destination of Bratislava in the Slovak Republic, before culminating January 9, 2010, with the live Leaderboard final. How to Qualify

PokerStars is running CSPT satellites now for just a few dollars, giving you the chance to win a full prize package worth $1,000, including your Main Event tournament buy-in, hotel accommodation and money to cover expenses. Go to the CSPT satellites page to find out how you can make it to one of the live events. To register, open the PokerStars lobby, click ‘Tourney’ and ‘Regional’.
